NewsOffice is different than most news management sytems because most systems use a database like MySql that users will need to have in order to run the application succesfully. Here NewsOffice differs, it does not need a database.Everything is stored in data files so everything is saved on the website itself. Features:No database required NewsOffice is one of the few systems on the internet that does not require a online database to save your content. NewsOffice saves all your files in data files on your webserver. This will allow more people to use the application, because not all webhosts offer a database, like MySql. Manage your News Write, save, edit, publish, unpublish and delete your news. With NewsOffice you can write news posts. You can change them later on, choose if your visitors you view them, add it to a category and delete your posted news. A template system will allow you to change the appearance of your news posts. With these options you can surely manage your news in all the ways necessary for you to have a great news page. Uploads Make your news interesting using family, holiday, nature pictures which you can upload with NewsOffice on to your website. The upload system will allow you to manage your uploads and add them to your news. Comments Want to know what your users think of your latest news? That's possible! NewsOffice allows your visitors to leave comments on your news so you and other visitors can read what they have on their mind. Don't want spam bots to spam your comments? Taken care of, users can't randomly post comments so your comments aren't spammed. Users Let your friends, family and co-writers write news too by making an account for them with the by you chosen rights. There are three roles a user can be: a Administrator, a Editor or a Writer. All with different rights to allow you to manage your news correctly. Users will be able to manage their own profile which can be read by the visitors of your website. They will be able to change their profile picture and write a story about themselfs. An Administrator will always have the rights to change everything about the user.
